Get started with a free Discovery Call. We’ll discuss your current sleep situation, perspectives on sleep coaching, and whether or not my services are the right fit for your family.
Purchase your package. Once your package is purchased you will be sent a confirmation email with an intake form and contract.
Complete the intake process. The intake process allows me to get a complete picture of your child’s sleep challenges, as well as their developmental stage and personality, so that I can prepare for our first call together! Once your intake is received and reviewed you will be invited to schedule your first sleep coaching call.
As we work together you will receive detailed notes from each of our coaching sessions, outlining my recommendations, which you can begin implementing right away.

Meet your Sleep Coach
Hi, I’m Rebecca Shannon. Thank you for being here!
I am a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant and Newborn Care Specialist, as well as a mother of two wonderful kiddos. I hold a Master’s degree in teaching and a Virginia Teaching License. I spent the first ten years of my career as an educator, so I know how much sleep impacts both the working parent, and the learning child. Because of my background in education, I am also well versed in child development, and understand the need for sleep recommendations to be based in research, and the science of how pediatric sleep works. My years of teaching have also taught me that children learn best when all of their needs are met, they have the support of loving adults, and learning challenges are developmentally appropriate for them; all of which I apply to my sleep coaching practice.
My approach also balances your family’s need for optimal sleep, with your parenting preferences and values. I will never ask you to do something that makes you feel uncomfortable as a parent. My process honors, and celebrates, the parent-child attachment, and therefore is different from some traditional “sleep-training” approaches. Because my approach is holistic and unique to your family, I also do not make blanket promises or give unrealistic expectations. I will always be upfront with you about my recommendations, what you can expect, and what realistic progress will look like.
After sleep-coaching my own daughter I was blown away by how life changing it was for our family. It gave our daughter the energy to develop and thrive, it gave my husband and I our alone time back, and it gave me a new passion, which I now get to share with folks like you every day.
Let’s be honest, this is about more than your child sleeping, because when they sleep, you get to care for yourself again. When they sleep you read, workout, go on a date, watch a movie, have a glass of wine, or any number of countless things that frankly, make us parents feel human!
